Mounting Air zound horn on oversized handlebars.

IMG_3687The first thing you discover when you get your Airzound horn is that the original bracket won’t fit your 31.8mm or wing type drop bars. Here is how you deal with it:

1. Remove the bracket.

2. Remove the volume adjuster.

3. Cut a slot.

4. Make a groove.

5. Attach your horn neatly via rubber o-ring/rubber band.

    • Hi. The rubber band in the pictures came originally with an Exposure Flare light.
Please note that the grip isn’t very strong so you may need to experiment with other bands in order to prevent the horn from rotating on the bars.
      Good luck:-)

  1. I’ve just tried this using a black O ring and it works great! To stop damage to my bars, I put a strip of rubber underneath (the type you get with lights and reflectors). This also makes it very tight on the bars so it doesn’t move.

  2. I’ve just tried this with a black O ring I found and it works really well. I also put a rubber strip (the type you get with lights and reflectors) underneath. Not only does this protect my bars, it makes it very secure and stops it from rotating.
